Project coordinator Svitlanа Soroka and the director of the Institute of Public Administration of Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University Volodymyr Yemelianov took part at the international conference “Europe of the XXI century. The Future of Europe and the European Union in the face of old and new challenges” that was held on 6-7 of February in the town of Slubice, Republic of Poland. The plenary session included the speeches of Günter Verheugen, the European Commissioner for Enlargement 1999-2004; Leszek Miller, deputy of the European Parliament; Marek Prawda, Head of Representation – Poland at European Commission.
Svitlana Soroka presented her paper on “Economic consequences of the realization of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement” during the panel devoted to the cooperation of post-Soviet countries with the EU.
